Een bijzonder antiek Chinees wandbord van handbeschilderd blauw-wit porselein. Het bord is verdeeld in sierlijke vakken met speelse figuurtjes – ook wel ‘zotjes’ genoemd – afgewisseld met verfijnde bloem- en bladmotieven.

De diepe kobaltblauwe beschildering is geïnspireerd op het beroemde porselein uit de Kangxi-periode. Dit bord is niet uit de oorspronkelijke Kangxi-periode, maar vermoedelijk rond 1900–1920 in China vervaardigd naar dit geliefde voorbeeld.

Met zijn karaktervolle decor en klassieke blauw-witte kleuren is het een prachtige blikvanger aan de muur. Mooi als solitair wandbord, maar ook sfeervol gecombineerd met andere antieke borden, schalen of Chinees porselein. Dankzij de aanwezige ophanging kan het bord direct een mooie plek krijgen.
