Market servies Figglo Flint

Market tableware Figglo Flint

In 1966 Turi Gramstad Olivier designed the Market service for Figgjo Flint, which quickly became popular throughout Scandinavia, but also worldwide. The Market tableware is still one of the classics from the Figgjo range.

Fishing communities

Turi designed the 'Market' service because she was inspired by the rich traditions and culture of the Norwegian fishing communities. The tableware is inspired by the fish market and the subtly wavy lines represent the sea. Oliver wanted to capture the beauty of these communities and honor them by creating functional and sustainable tableware.

The Market service is a fairly minimalistic and timeless service that is characterized by its simple lines and shapes.

Rich tradition

Figgjo Flint has a rich tradition of making and designing ceramics. The company always strives to find the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. The result is a tableware line that is not only visually attractive, but also functional and convenient to use, as well as of high quality.

You don't just come across the vintage tableware and I was pleasantly surprised when I came across the Market tableware parts, which are now available in the webshop.
