It is lovely summer weather and what is nicer than a day of strolling through the French brocante market or vide grenier? I can walk around for hours and enjoy the beautiful French country style. From antique furniture to elegant home accessories , it is all there.
My heart starts beating faster as soon as I see the stalls with all those authentic French brocante . I let myself be carried away to the Dordogne, with its cozy villages, sunflowers, lavender fields and relaxed lifestyle. That typical French flair is bursting from it and that makes treasure hunting in France such a wonderful activity.
Between all those pearls I leisurely search for the perfect accessories that give a house or garden a summery French touch . A weathered wooden stool, a chic vase or beautiful tableware - it is a feast for the eyes. I can hardly resist them and gladly take them with me to the Netherlands.
After scoring my finds, I look for a cozy terrace. There I enjoy my brocante hunt to the fullest, while enjoying a cool drink and a typical French lunch. Lovely to enjoy the summer in French style!
